What printer/plotter should I buy? I need one that I can print graphics & vinyl signs as well as AutoCad dwgs?

I watched the new Mutoh printer, but can someone tell me if HP-GL / 2 accept the language that is used as AutoCad. Then I saw on the HP 1050c and now see that the HP 800PS plotter better could it be vinyl signs and banners. In addition, the 1050c is only 36 “wide plotter, where the 800PS HP is 42 inches wide. I used the HP 1050c and HP800PS but only for AutoCAD applications. As they are printing and graphics print on vinyl? Do one of eco-solvent inks HP plotter are available?

For you needst you should look at one of these from HP. Canon also makes professional plotters also. They are used in a media department for what you’re trying to do. I would go with the Canon Plotters or look at the top end plotter from HP.

Here are the links for HP for Autocad which we use Plans

Media Department uses: Canon imagePROGRAF W8200
